The Texas Doula Workforce Study

We are thrilled to launch the first-ever survey of doulas (for doulas, by doulas) in the state of Texas during International Doula Month, May 2025!

The Texas Doula Workforce Survey, sponsored by the Texas Doula Association, will help us understand the doula workforce across the state of Texas, including experiences, challenges, practice structures, concerns, and compensation. 

The survey is IRB-approved and open to all practicing doulas in the state, regardless of certification or experience level!

By participating, you’ll help us:

• Understand who Texas doulas are and where and how they work

• Identify challenges and gaps in support for doulas

• Advocate for better resources, pay, and recognition for doulas 

The first 500 respondents will receive a $50 gift card as a thank you for your time!

The survey ends on May 31, 2025 and gift cards will be delivered within 30 days of the date the survey was taken.
