The Texas Doula Workforce Study

The Texas Doula Workforce Survey, sponsored by the Texas Doula Association, will help us understand the doula workforce across the state of Texas, including experiences, challenges, practice structures, concerns, and compensation. 

The survey is IRB-approved and open to all practicing doulas in the state, regardless of certification or experience level!

By participating, you’ll help us:

• Understand who Texas doulas are and where and how they work

• Identify challenges and gaps in support for doulas

• Advocate for better resources, pay, and recognition for doulas 

The survey ran during International Doula Month in May 2025. We look forward to sharing learnings and results from our survey in the next few months.
